6Connex, Inc. Announces Development of Learning Management Platform
Traditional learning management systems (LMS) offer a flat, menu-driven experience that simply doesn’t inspire and engage learners. Often complicated to navigate – and complicated to manage – these systems can also lack mobile accessibility, personalization and flexibility. Implementation of an LMS can also be costly and take up to a year to implement.
The 6Connex Learning Management System is a new way to deliver training programs. A robust module added to any environment license, the new release blends the key tenets of learning management with the engagement and immersive nature of virtual environments.
The 6Connex feature set for learning management enable customers to add powerful e-learning into any virtual environment. Key elements of the feature set include:
Flexible Content Matrix: Organize your training program in the most logical path for your learners. Group specific activities into Courses; group Courses by Topic; group Topics by Subject, or provide direct access at each level.
Customized Learning Paths: Rules-based course design specifies the order for activities; personalized progress keeps learners on track.
Courses: Design each Course for your specific learner requirements; provide a detailed overview and capture enrollment; enforce prerequisites; select Activities; display learner progress; schedule release and expiration dates.
Activities: Almost any type of content can be an Activity; live or on-demand webinars, pre-recorded videos, documents, quizzes; select your Activities, then set a specific order for your learners.
Powerful Entitlements: Every learner is not the same, so you can assign / expose activities, courses, rooms and even graphics to specific groups of learners.
Quizzes and Assessments: Reinforce key course takeaways and measure learner knowledge with custom quizzes; score, pass/fail, allow re-takes per need.
Notifications & Reminders: Notify individual learners when a new Course is available or assigned; remind learners of progress and completion dates; notify learners upon Course completion.
Deep Metrics & Reporting: Track learner progress with a real-time dashboard and access to 20+ reports; detailed course reports, individual activity reports, chat and engagement reports.
In addition to the above, customers will have access to the full feature set of the 6Connex Virtual Destination platform, including 1:1 & small group chat, public and moderated discussions, integrated social media and gamification, along within an engaging and intuitive virtual environment. Enterprise organizations will also appreciate the flexibility of permission-based access, security for internal content and virtually unlimited scale.

Six More Ideas for Your Virtual Conference Sponsorships
Last week I shared six initial ideas for adding more value to virtual event or virtual conference sponsorships, and specifically to sponsor virtual booths. This week, I have a couple more ideas around booths, as well as a few ideas to help extend the sponsorships throughout your virtual conference. Here we go:
1 – Preparation is key. Sales reps may be the last ones to show up for training, but they are crucial to sponsorship success. While you don’t want reps stalking attendees during the keynote, you do want reps who know how to use the virtual event platform and who are prepared with appropriate outreach and appropriate answers to common questions – even questions about the general session agenda. Make sure reps know how to leverage experts for small group conversations, and encourage them to think about a next step, whether that’s a whitepaper download, a scheduled demo or an invitation to next week’s webinar.
6 Ideas to Add Value to a Virtual Conference
It’s already the third week of August, time to say goodbye to summer break and get back to business. For many, that means diving into the weeds of a virtual event or virtual conference program. If you’re working on a virtual event that involves sponsors or partners, we thought it might be a great time to talk about how to make those sponsorships a little richer.

5 Key Benefits of a Virtual SKO
With travel becoming more expensive and less convenient than ever and technology becoming more savvy, companies are using virtual destinations to create intricate corporate events that mirror live hosted ones. Sales Kick Offs in particular, are becoming more streamlined into virtual events. There are many advantages to choosing a virtual SKO over a physical one. Cost and effortless collaboration and communication are just a few that come to mind. Delivering, maintaining, and extracting valuable information that your sales team can easily retrieve is icing on the cake. 6Connex can make any configuration of your virtual sales conference happen by offering all of this and more through a 100-percent cloud virtual environment platform and the support of its passionate team.
Virtual Sales Kickoff
If your company’s fiscal year starts January 1, it’s a good bet your sales team is under the gun to close out the year strong. At the same time, sales leadership is already thinking about how to kick off 2015 with a bang, with sales training, goal-setting and lots of team building – very likely with a Sales Kick Off.
The traditional Sales Kick Off (SKO) is an in-person affair. If you know salespeople, you know there’s no replacement for connecting face-to-face, sitting down and sharing a drink with colleagues. While we couldn’t agree more, we also know adding a virtual component to your SKO (a Virtual SKO) will allow you to be more inclusive to your organization while ensuring your content lives long after your reps leave Las Vegas.
